The Maintain of Makatib Project is a key running initiative of the Chandpur Nooria Siddiquia Welfare Foundation, focused on preserving and supporting small local Islamic schools (Makatib) that provide essential religious education to children in rural areas. These Makatib play a vital role in teaching the Qur’an, basic Islamic principles, moral values, and daily religious practices to young learners, especially those who lack access to formal institutions.

Through this project, the Foundation ensures the smooth functioning of these Makatib by providing financial support for teachers’ salaries, maintenance of school buildings, supply of books, prayer mats, blackboards, and other necessary educational materials. Special attention is given to under-resourced villages where such institutions are the only source of Islamic learning for the children.

By sustaining these grassroots educational centers, the Foundation helps nurture a generation grounded in faith, ethics, and community responsibility.
