Our Journey Since 2005

The story of compassion, dedication and social transformation

Located in the remote and underdeveloped village of Chandpur in Deganga Block of North 24 Parganas district, approximately 40 kilometers south of Kolkata, the capital city of West Bengal, India, the "Chandpur Nooria Siddiquia Welfare Foundation" was founded in 2005 by the esteemed social and educational reformer LATE HAJI MOHAMMAD SHAFIQUR RAHMAN (Social Activist & Educator).

Founder Haji Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman

Our Visionary Founder

LATE HAJI MOHAMMAD SHAFIQUR RAHMAN dedicated his life to the upliftment of underprivileged communities through education and social welfare initiatives. His vision continues to guide our work today.

The foundation was established primarily to promote the overall welfare of the economically backward and minority Muslim communities, as well as Scheduled Castes and Tribes — with a strong focus on education, healthcare, self-reliance, and employment generation. Several conscious and dedicated individuals from the locality extended their support to this noble initiative.

Official Recognition

Since its inception, the organization has received all necessary approvals from both the State and Central Governments, including recognition from the Income Tax Department, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
